Carrot and Pickle

This collection is for the nature lover, naturalist, and of course, the collector.  The “Collector” Couplet contains a curated pair of Felix Doolittle folded cards celebrating found treasures from nature. One card features a series of feathers; the other, four colorful crystals and gems.

Playing off the idea of a couplet in poetry — two lines of verse joined by rhythm and rhyme that express one thought — this set has two designs that tell a richer story by their pairing. The Couplet includes five cards of each watercolor illustration and 10 matching envelopes. 

Also included is a Correspondence Log Card, illustrated with Felix's favorite pencil, to record to whom and when each card is sent. 

Presented in our award-winning book box, the front label is inspired by the art of the envelope. It features the name of the Couplet in Felix’s handwritten calligraphy. The two card designs appear as envelope stamps. 

This collection is a wonderful gift that elevates the experience of handwriting letters and notes.
